Romeo Kapudjia

Biography

Romeo Kapudija has competed in numerous professional races with very good results against world-class drivers such as: Sam Hornish Jr., Alex Tagliani, and Patrick Carpantier, just to name a few.  Highlights would include competitive drives in the Toyota Atlantic Series, Formula Zetec Series, America Le Mans Series, and Grand Am Cup Series.  Romeo has extensive set-up experience, has studied engineering, and has a great understanding of vehicle dynamics.  He is also a graduate of Arizona State University.

Romeo has been competing the 2009 racing season in select events for Battery Tender-MCM Racing in both the teams #21 Pontiac GTO-R and #31 Porsche 997.

Personal

Kapudija is married to Ashley Jung-Kapudija. He is the president of a real estate management and development company started by his late father. A graduate of Arizona State University, he enjoys racing, fishing, golf, motocross and paintball.

Co-drove with Patrick Dempsey and Rick Skelton in select KONI Challenge Series races.

2006
Made nine KONI Challenge starts with best finish of seventh.

2004
Finished in top 10 in 12 Hours of Sebring.

2002-2003
Competed in ALMS, earning a top five and two top 10s.

2001-2002
Competed in several SCCA divisions. Earned two wins and eight top 10s in Formula Zetec Series.

1999-2001
Competed in Champ Car Atlantics.

1997-1998
Garnered six top fives in SCCA Formula Continental.

1995-1997
Competed in Skip Barber Formula Dodge, earning two wins and 18 top 10s.

1980-1995
Competed in karting, motocross and motorcycle road racing, earning multiple wins and top 10s.
