Owen Trinkler

Biography
Owen spearheaded the development of the GT2 Corvette that ran in the ALMS in 2000. Owen is a proven winner with over 18 years of racing experience in open wheel Formula cars to NASCAR Supertrucks involving development, implementation and coordination of individual, team and corporate sponsorship.
Owen is in his second full season with RSR Motorsports in the Mini Cooper S. He has led 9 laps this season in the ST class of the Koni Sports Car Challenge with a season best finish at Barber Motorsports Park of a 4th place finish.

Participated in nine ST races for RSR Motorsports, earning first two career poles and taking season-best finish of fifth at Thunderbolt Raceway at New Jersey Motorsports Park and Virginia International Raceway.
2007
Contested 10 Grand Sport races with best finish of seventh at Mosport International Raceway. Competed in four ST races, notching best finish of seventh at Le Circuit de Trois-Rivières.
2006
Competed in five GS races, logging season-best 12th at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
2005
Made nine GS starts with best third of third at Trois-Rivières.
2004
Started four GS races with best finish of fifth at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
2003
Won first and only race to date, taking first in ST I class at Mosport. Victory came in one of five ST I starts.
2002
Debuted in ST I, starting three races with best finish of 15th.

Competed in Rolex 24 At Daytona with Autometrics Motorsports in Rolex Sports Car Series GT class, placing 23rd in class.

Won Rolex Series AGT class event at VIR, and finished second in AGT at Le Circuit de Mont-Tremblant.
